Diary Post | Four Months in Japan!

Dear Reader,

Long time no post (again!) and happy 2020! I’ve had this blog for over two years now, and I feel like because I don’t have a specific topic I blog about, I keep getting distracted and disappearing. To be fair, sometimes I disappear because of my long-time battle with depression, sometimes just because I just don’t know what to post? Other times because I get busy and don’t have time.

Side note: incase you don’t follow my personal IG @ insta_rinnn, I included some pictures I’ve taken since October!

enjoy this sunset I took on the bus drive from Osaka to Kobe!

So, I’ve been here an four months now, and wow time flies. Honestly, it feels longer? I’ve been settling into classes, which has been fun and challenging. The last time I was in school was Spring of 2018, so this has been fun trying to get back into a study routine (speaking of which I am now procrastinating my studying by working on this post, LOL).

shame me, i deserve it lol

Having spent some time here now, I feel like the newness of Japan has mostly worn off, don’t get me wrong I discover new things everyday, but it’s not sparkly anymore. Which is still valid because I’m enjoying myself. Last year, when I was going through a rather difficult depressive episode, my dad told me to just apply for school. He was like, “it’ll be better to be depressed in Japan and doing something with my life, than to be depressed at home stuck in the same rut.” Tough words, but good advice because I’m here now!

Osaka Castle

I really like the city I picked, Kobe, because it’s rather diverse. There’s a China Town, lots of Indian restaurants, and a district called Kitano, which was build by Europeans who were here a long time ago, so the architecture is very cool and different from what the rest of the city has to offer. Kobe is also next to Osaka, which is a much larger and exciting city filled with delicious food!

a pic of the local China Town
Snapped this pic of Kobe as I was riding up the mountain to the Botanical Gardens

By the way, if there’s anything you guys want me to blog about/review (makeup, manga, anime, dramas, etc.) you can DM on twitter or IG! Honestly, since of I’ve got here I’m mostly just been enjoying my youth, AND I do have a few topics I could blog about in a diary post if I can find the motivation. For example, I went on several dates, and I could make a separate post about my experience with Tinder and Bumble on Japan, because it’s been it’s own journey as a small town girl from Alaska. LMAO

Though I will say, RIP my bank account. What I do need to do is get a part-time job, but I’ve been procrastinating it. I’m just so tired after working so much last summer, I needed a break. I have been browsing though, and it looks like most of the nice jobs are in Osaka, which is chill but I really don’t want to commute that far. I think from my station to Umeda Station (which is the hub, apparently?) it’s about 45 minutes? The struggle is real, and I while public transportation is convenient, sometimes rush hour–and being squished into a train like a can of sardines, is not!

Okay, and as for my music pick of the month (this was from like October, because I never talked about their lastest album on here properly like I normally do!) I found a store that sells kpop albums, I was able to buy The Table by Nu’est, their latest album in person for the first time in my life! Which isn’t a big deal to a lot of people, but as their fan for 8 years (omg) it meant a lot to me!

I’m literally that person who will promote Nu’est every chance I get, sorry ur mad about it lo

Anyway, let me know what you want to read! I’ll have a new post up sooner rather than later, I hope. Thanks for reading, and as always,

Love,

Rin

Japan Life | Trying ¥500 Sushi from the スーパー (Supermarket)

Dear Reader,

“What is she trash posting about today?” You may ask? Well, I’ve been here for exactly one week, and for some reason sushi is hella expensive here? I do live by the ocean, so why can’t I find a place that’s reasonable? Yeah, you right, I’m not looking in the right places. ANYWAY, now that you’ve roasted me, I thought I’d share a first impression for funsies.

BEFORE

I was at the super market for the first time (btw it was f-ing packed) and I walked by the pre-made food section and I saw some decent looking sushi. In America, or at least where I’m from, pre-made sushi is kind of everywhere? (Or as my younger sister calls them: gas station sushi). They’re at the grocery store (kroger, safeway), your local asian mart, or even in the college pre-made food kiosk. However, they’re usually just california or crunch rolls.

look at my cute shiba mat, i have matching silverware and glasses! #daiso

Not going to lie, I’ve been eating junk since I got here. Literally rice for most meals–it’s so easy. This sushi and kimchi was a nice change of pace, and not deep fried!

Side note, and this is not sponsored btw, I really love daiso! I got my chopsticks and plates from there. It’s helped a lot, especially with my student budget lol

AFTER

So, how was it? It was aight, what you’d expect for premade sushi in Japan, and LOADS better than the dried out rolls you get in the American stores (i’d probably rate it a 6.5? Maybe a 7 if I had bothered to break out the soy sauce).

My favorite were the fish sashimi, and the eel. The ebi was aight, and the tamago was slight on the sweet side. Overall, not bad.

attempting to watch anime on Japan netflix but they don’t have english subs, sad.

Now the kimchi? I’ve def had better, but tbh I’ll probably buy it again. I’m not going to lie the cabbage kimchi tasted slightly of wasabi? Which I’m meh about, but the cucumber and daikon kimchi was bomb, which is why I’ll buy it again lol.

To finish it off I had some already cut asian pears, which was delish for ¥130. I know some people feel some kind of way about presliced fruit/food, but I like it because I a) don’t have to slice it myself, and b) i only want a little bit anyway.

SO. Hope you enjoyed my little blog about supermarket foods! I think I’ll do a random series about japan life? I’m thinking I’ll also do a post about moving to japan as a new adult too, but you probs won’t see that one for a bit. If there are any makeup/foods you want me to try and review, DM me on instagram @insta_rinnn, and I’ll catch you later!

Musings | Airport Fashion + Skincare

Dear Reader,

So, airport fashion? I lowkey wanted to be cute like Lisa from Blackpink while I was traveling this time around. I spent hours looking at airport outfits from idols and instagram personalities, I had a cute outfit picked out and everything! However, when the crunch came down on me, I was in utter hell and I couldn’t give a ish about what I was wearing.

Sigh. I tried so hard. I had even bought some Tommy Hilfiger sweatpants, but the night before I left my mom bought me an Alaska hoodie, and they just didn’t match. I ended up wearing a oversized 907 Hoodie and black leggings with my Fila tennis shoes. Still cute, but when I pulled up to the airport and was getting checked in some chic asian girls were in front of me flexing (jk they looked just as dead as I felt) in their Tommy Hilfiger sweats. At least we were on the same page lol.

I was going to braid my hair before going to the airport, but as we know I am max procrastinator so I was packing up until the last minute, so I like slept for 2.5 hours before hoping onto the plane. I didn’t end up braiding my hair until I was on the plane which is On Brand(TM) lol. I wonder how beauty vloggers always look so flawless when they post travel vlogs or travel stories on their IGs. I mean, they also wear makeup and I’m currently looking like a pota(toe) sooooo.

Do you guys have any skincare routines while traveling? Oddly enough my skin is hecka dry today, normally flying makes me super greasy. So I usually wash my face after a flight or two, I literally carry a whole skincare regiment. For my birthday last month sephora gave me a drunk elephant travel set, and it has a face wash and moisturizer, and I’m looking forward to trying it.

On long flights I use sheet masks, I literally don’t care if people give me weird looks, at least I don’t break out as much as I used to when I traveled

related: my travel essentials 2019

Maybe I should make a travel hacks blog? I feel like I travel so much I might have a few things up my sleeve, like no one ever talks about bringing immune systems boosters in their blog. I usually take zinc supplements when I travel, and I haven’t gotten sick on vacation in two years since I started doing that. #protip lol

i had a six hour layover and was bored lol

Anyway, this was fun writing! Thanks for reading guys, and feel free to DM me your airport hacks/stories on IG @insta_rinnn, or leave a comment down below! See you in my next post!

J-Drama Mini-Review | Takane to Hana

Dear Reader,

As much as I love manga, I’m more of a dorama fan. I like everything from Chinese Wuxia, to Korean Melodramas. In this case, I read Takane and Hana when Shojo Beat started putting out the English editions of the manga. It’s been one of my faves to keep up with, so when I heard that there was a live adaptation in the making I made sure to mark my calendar!

Synopsis via Viki.com:

At sixteen years old, Hana Nonomura (Aisa Takeuchi) was the last person you’d ever expect to be going on a blind date, especially one meant for finding a suitable marriage partner. But when her older sister, Yukari (Arisa Deguchi), refuses to go, Hana finds herself forced to be her stand-in, or risk bringing shame to the entire family. With no other options, Hana agrees to go, hoping to get the entire thing over with as quickly and peacefully as possible; but when she meets Takane (Mahiro Takasugi), everything changes.

The heir of the Takaba Group, 26-year-old Saibara Takane is the epitome of perfection. With killer looks and a fabulous career, he’s the man every woman dreams of having. There’s just one problem, he’s a haughty, arrogant snob who thinks of no one but himself. With such a nasty attitude, his plans to ruin his impending blind date would be easy enough, he just had to be the right amount of awful to chase her away. His plan should have been perfect, but he never expected to meet someone as fiery as Hana Nonomura.

Intrigued by Hana’s complete lack of concern over his looks, position, and money, Takane finds himself drawn to this most unusual girl. When fate brings this spunky girl back into his life, Takane finds himself falling for her but can such polar opposites really attract?

Based on the manga series, “Takane to Hana” by Yuki Shiwasu, “Takane and Hana” is a 2019 romantic comedy drama directed by Yusuke Ishii.

I found Hana charming, played by Aisa Takeuchi, as she and her friends navigated the ups and downs of high school. Because her older sister has a boyfriend, she ends up going to a marriage meeting in her sisters place. I think Hana is pretty mature, and handles herself well no matter what situation she ends up in. I admire that about her, she just rolls with whatever life gives her. Usually I don’t like live-adaptations as much as the source material, but I think the actors did justice to the characters. So this was a pretty pleasant surprise. 👍

Takane is a spoiled rich kid, and is emotionally immature. Which is why I think they work well together. To the audience Takane’s character is humorous, as makes it his mission to annoy Hana. He is awkward though, as he navigates the world of the middle class, a culture different from his own. I think Mahiro Takasuki did a good job of emulting the essence of manga Takane, so I think fans of the manga will also enjoy the drama (plus Mahiro is super cute, so that’s a plus!).

The Takane and Hana opening OST

Obviously, I enjoyed the drama a lot. It’s only 8 episodes, and they cut a lot of the story out, keeping just the skeleton of the plot. However, it was simple, and I think it encapsulated the essence of the manga nicely! I liked both of the main actors performance, and I even found the side characters amusing. Aisa played her role especially well, because I really felt her emotions when she was happy, sad, or angry with Takane lol.

Overall, I don’t think I can say more without giving much away, so I’ll end my mini-review here.

Though I will say, full disclosure, this story does have a major age gap with Hana being 16, and Takane being 26 (yikes). Age gap relations like this are pretty common in manga, so I don’t usually blink twice when I encounter them out in the wild. I mean, nothing inappropriate happens between them, but they are in a relationship so this might make some people uncomfortable. I personally have mixed feelings about it myself, so I just wanted to acknowledge it here on my blog, and let folks know. I did look up the actors ages, and the gap between them isn’t that bad with Aisa being born in 2001 and Mahiro being born in 1996. In the end, it’s up to you if you want to check it out!

Thanks for reading, and if you want to keep up with my daily life, follow me on IG @insta_rinnn! Otherwise, catch you on my next blog~

Diary Post | I Don’t Know About You, but I’m feelin’ 22!

Dear Reader,

So it begins, I’ve aged another year. When I turned 20, I told myself this would be my decade, and I’d do things for myself. Well, that’s finally happening because I’m moving to Japan! I was torn between Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and South Korea. These are all places I’ve wanted to see, but in the end I went with Japan, due to my educational background (I minored in it during University).

I’m going to study, first I’m going to language school so I can learn Japanese better, and then grad school. I have know idea what I’ll study, or how I’ll fund grad school, but that tomorrow’s problem lol.

I disappeared (again) this summer because I’ve been working two jobs, between 69.5 and 75 hours a week. WHICH IS CRAZY. But because I had a set goal, I’ve managed to pull it off. Though, it’s not exactly how I imagined spending my 21st year of life.

One of the jobs I worked was a random office job I had applied for on a whim. I had beaten 168 other applicants, which seriously blows my mind, but at the same time I was overqualified for the position. I applied for it while I was applying for school, that way I had a backup in case I didn’t get a visa.

It was kind of horrible, not because the work was bad, or because anyone mistreated me, but it made me realize how I don’t want to work in an office before I get out there and actually experienced life. This guy had been working since he was eighteen, and now he’s pushing sixty. Doing the same thing everyday, every summer and winter, in the same office he’s been in for 30+ years. Once he told me his story, it kind of pushed me to have a little crisis, and motivated me to get my visa paperwork in order.

He told me it would be an amazing place to grow, and the pay and benefits were great. Which would be amazing, if I were 28 and ready to settle down. It was honestly what scared me the most. My future flashed before my eyes, and it was really, really boring (no shade to him or anyone else who chooses that path, but it’s not for everyone).

I honestly have found a new respect for people who work in offices and enjoy it. Some people really have a passion for their jobs. Though, I will say, there was a lotttttt of office drama. Like, love triangles, and bitter exes, oh and work rivals. I stayed out of it (for the most part), but let me tell you, I won’t miss the office. Did I lowkey get caught up with someone and have my own office romance? I mean, they sure as hell tried to catch me, but I stayed focus on my goal.

Anyway, back to moving. Like I said, when I turned 20 years old, I wanted to spend my twenties living for myself, and it’s only taken me like 2 years to actually get out of the house and put my first step forward, but, I’m excited for the future. I’m not exactly where I want to be, but I’ve gained experience along the way, and I’m moving in the right direction.

One of my dreams has always been to publish a book, and now my friend and I are working to put together a series of light novels with my words and her art. It’s going really well honestly! It’s a story about new beginnings, and I think you guys will really enjoy it! Maybe we’ll get the first volume out by next spring? I’ll keep you posted!

Anyway, that’s all for life updates! Let’s go 22!

As per usual, I’ll share a song I’ve been really enjoying:

I really want to work towards self acceptence this year, so I thought Face by Woosung would be a good anthem! Thanks for reading my dear, and I’ll catch you on the otherside!

Love,

Rin

Travel Blog | Philippines Spring 2019

Dear Reader,

DANGGG. I’ve been beyond busy, and this post has been sitting in my drafts and getting dusty for a long time. Whoops. Here’s my belated travel blog, sorry guys!

So, I finally traveled outside of the USA, for the first time in 8 years! Of course, aside from Mexico, I’ve only been to the Philippines, which is my mother’s home country (I’m half Filipina and half white). I also lived there when I was a child, and attended my first year of high school there.

I went with my mom, because my dad was already there. My parents still live there in the winter time, but my mom travels back to the US for work. It can’t really give details on that, because it’s their privacy. Anyway, I was there for three weeks, and it was so nice to visit my family and friends 😭

The jungle behind my house.

We went to Palawan first, which is where our house is. I was busy everyday, from visiting my family, to hitting the beach. We didn’t do many tourist-y things, because my parent’s really aren’t about that life (they’re old). I was okay with that though, because I was busy getting caught up with people, and checking out how much the city (Puerto Princesa) had changed since 2011.

One of my dad’s prized pineapple plants lol

So, I shopped a lot. Now that I’m looking at all these pics, I realized what a crap job I did at collecting pictures of my trip. I took a lot of food pics. Like, a lot of food pics; an embarrassing amount. Sooooo, I’ll share what I can and spare you. I promise to do better next time, okey?

The boats we rode when we went island hoping in Honda Bay, Palawan.

Travelling with my parents was kind of boring, they never want to do cool tourist stuff with me, we only went island hoping together. Also, my cousins were working and couldn’t play with me, so it was super lonesome. Except when we went to Bacolod City, my seven year old cousin hung out with me a lot, but mostly because I bought him basketball stuff and pokemon cards.

The docks feat. my mother’s back

Also, as I was saying the only touristy thing we did was island hoping, and omg tourists are so annoying. Like, not just foreigners were there, but other filipinos from other islands, and everyone that day was really getting on my nerves with how cranky they were. Like this one lady, she was upset because her tour company brought her to the docks an hour early, and the rest of the tour didn’t get there until later. She legit went on a rant to our tour guide about how she was a f*cking queen and didn’t deserve to wait like that. Well, maybe if she had actually read the right arrival time she wouldn’t have had to wait. It still makes me mad after all these months.

random sandbar

So, after we left Palawan, we went to Negros Occidental from where my family originates. I mostly hungout in my room, and did a lot of shopping and a lot of eating. I feel like if I had actually sit down and wrote this right after I got back it would have been more exciting. Not just for you guys, but also for myself?

my mother’s awesome photography skillz and me being a nerd (u right I am wearing a slip so I don’t burn to death in the sun)

I was there for three weeks, you’d think I’d have more interting things to say and show, but honestly it was kind of like I had resumed my daily life since the last time I was there minus school. I also caught up with friends who were home at the same time too, and enjoyed the sun.

Thanks for reading, and look forward to next next blog where I update you on my summer, and share some exciting news. Also, I need to work on some more skincare reviews, so look forwards to that as well.

Love,

Rin

Manga Review | Futaribeya by Yukiko

**This post is NOT sponsored ✨

Dear Reader,

So, I was on the lookout for cute yuri (Girls Love), and I saw Futaribeya at my local B&N, which I was drawn to immediately. The cover is pink which is my favorite color, and it’s super pretty and girly with flowers and lace. I really love the art! I’m a sucker for aesthetics, plus the pastel pink and cute girl’s spoke to me.

The story starts with Sakurako Kawawa who has moved into the dorm. Her first time away from home, and the beginning of her high school experience. Then, she meets her roommate, Kasumi Yamabuki. Who is super pretty, but kind of an airhead. The two become quite the duo, as they navigate school and living away from their families together.

I honestly thought this was a duology, but after looking it up it seems there are currently six volumes out in Japanese, which will also be released in English later this year. I’m super hyped about it, because I’ve become super attached to our two main characters. I can kind of see myself in both girls, Sakurako who is smart and responsible, and also Kasumi who is hard working, but also a little bit clumsy.

I would totally go back in time and redo high school if my experience was like theirs! Honesty from what I’ve read so far, the series is super wholesome and kawaii. I’m always blown away from the aesthetics. Their hairstyles are always on point, their outfits are soooooooo cute!

They also make friends with their classmates and dorm-mates. The series is slice of life, so really not much drama ensues, which I appreciate. Slice of life is one of my favorite genres, because I kind of like seeing people’s normal everyday life. Like Horimiya, which you can read my review on here. 😄

The days of youth, sweet and exciting haha. Of course, I don’t want to give anything away, so I’ll leave you guys with this!

Reasons to check it out:

  • Aesthetics
  • Girls being supportive friends 💖
  • Cute plot
  • Really, it’s a feel good manga!

So, my only complaint would be the panelings, because I’m not used to reading straight panels. It’s a bit confusing sometimes, but I got used to it. Honestly the story and characters are soooo cute, so I can live with it~

Catch the series here:

Amazon, B&N

9/10 stars!

Thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoyed this mini review! Check out my Instagram on the side bar if you want to see more cute manga pics!

Skincare Review | &Habit Black Tea Kombucha Mask

Dear Reader,

As you may know, Japan is famous for having those everyday face masks, which is a replacement for your everyday skincare routine. You use it for one minute, and then put on your makeup. It’s nice for people who are really busy, or for people need that extra five minutes of sleep in the morning.

Saborino is famous for their line of 1 minute masks, and they have a larger variety. However, I personally have never used them, because I was satisfied with my previous skincare routine. The reason why I tried out this line from &Habit is because the idol Jaejoong, shared it on his Instagram. And let’s be real, why else do I try out most beauty products?

Anyway, I searched high and low for this product, but I could only find it on an (indie?) Japanese makeup store I had never used before, or on the &Habit website, which is completely in Japanese.

Product links:

Kirei Station: http://www.kirei-station.com/product/2154

&Habit: https://andhabit.com/shop/%EF%BC%86%e3%80%80Habit/g/gahb002-ahb18002aa/

Product Description (please note I had to pull this from the website, and translate it myself because it’s not a product sold in many English speaking stores, and my Japanese is only subpar):

  • Apply 1 minute before makeup for beautiful skin.
  • 1 sheet has 6 roles, you can quickly do your makeup even when you’re busy everyday. 6-in-1: cleansing, booster essence, lotion, moisturizer, serum and cream.
  • Filled with kombucha serum, cucumber fruit extract, bilberry leaf extract, hawthorn extract, nutmeg fruit extract, grapefruit fruit extract, apple fruit extract, orange juice, lemon juice and lime juice, for moisturizing and nourishment.
  • 32 sheets.

Review:

So, you can use it everyday, but I jut use it on days when I’m super busy. I also don’t think it’s moisturizing enough during the winter months, so I add extra lotion. However, I think if you live in a humid place this should be perfect on it’s own.

I also wash my face the night before, so I’m not that sure what it means by cleansing? I think that’s a bit weird for a face mask, but I’m sure they have science behind it.

I do like fermented skincare products though, so I was intrigued by the kombucha aspect of it. Fermentation is good for helping the skin absorb products better, anti-aging, skin brightening, among other things. I will say that I left it on for longer than 3 minutes, and my skin started to tingle. Probably from the kombucha, but it didn’t irritate my skin any.

Oh, and the mask also smells very nice, kind of lemony? I really enjoy it, because it isn’t over powering.

Overall, I’d give it a rating of 8/10. It was a good product, but not a holy grail for me. It did, however, expose me to the world of 1-minute masks! Once I finish it I may try another brand.

Anyway, thanks for tuning in~ see you later!

Love,

Rin

My Travel Essentials 2019

This post is NOT sponsored.

Dear Reader,

So, I’m finally back from the Philippines! I wanted to get this out before I left, but I got busy and it didn’t happen… However, it’s here now! This is a lifestyle blog, so I figured I would share my travel essentials, and travel blogs/vlogs are my fave to watch/read. 💖

Pictured above is the bag I brought on the plane, where I put most of my stuff. It was Christmas gift from my sister, and the thing I like most about it is that it’s theft proof, so the zipper is in the back instead of in the front. Link: Amazon.

Inside, I have my lotion, wet wipes, earphones, and passport in the front. I bring disinfecting wipes with me on the plane, and on vacation, because the tray tables are sooooo dirty. I have an extremely susceptible immune system, so I like to be on the safe side. I also like to keep my passport in a cover to keep it clean and dry. One time my dad ruined his when he put it in his backpack with a bottle of open water. Yikes. I really like this cover because I love Pusheen!

Then, I have my sunglasses (this is a brand new pair because I crushed my other ones l o l). I also have my makeup pouch and a coin purse. I’m not sure where the makeup pouch is from because I got it for Christmas from a friend. And my fave Sanrio character is currently Aggretsuko (Link: Sanrio Store)! She’s so cute, and relatable~ ⭐

Inside my makeup pouch, I have a mirror, eyebrow duo kit, my fave lipstick from ysl, a travel size bottle of my fave perfume, the Kiss Me Heroine Smooth Liquid Eyeliner in Brown, the Kiss Me Heroine Make Volume & Curl Mascara Advanced Film, and the I’M MEME I’m Tic Toc Lip Tint Cashmere. Which are my makeup basics! I usually use the Em Cosmetics felt tip eyeliner, but recently I’m been using the Kiss Me Heroine eyeliner and mascara because they sponsored Blackpink, and who am I, if it has Blackpink’s face, I’ll buy it. And honestly, I really like them!

And in a ziplock bag, I brought my skincare! I used the Chia Seed Hydrating Emulsion, Pyunkang Yul Essence Toner, and the Cosrx Ultimate Moisturizing Honey Overnight Mask, on the plane, because the air is soooooo drying. I know some people like to use sheet masks, but that only lasts for 20 minutes, and after a few hours your skin is dry again. I’m not a fan.

I also the brought my klairs vitamin c serum, and a limited edition of some Suncut UV Sunscreen (here’s the closest thing I could find of it), for when I got off the plane. Sunscreen is super important because it protects your face from damaging UV rays, so I brought some SPF 50!

And in the back, I have some playing cards, and a sleeping mask. I didn’t really watch movies on the plane, and I just wanted to sleep. I also forgot to include this in the pictures, but I brought a BB cushion with me. I used the Moonshot Face Perfection Balm Cushion, and my shade is in 201. I like taking BB cushions on trips because they have the foundation and puff in one case, so it’s super travel friendly.

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this little blog post, I tried to provide links to everything I could, from the exact stores I bought them from. One more thing, none of these products were sponsored, I’m not a big enough blog for that 🙂

If you wanted to know more about a product I mentioned, feel free to DM me on instagram! Thanks for reading, and I’ll catch you later!

Love,

Rin

Where you At??

Dear Reader,

Ah yes, she fell off the face of the planet again. I’m always like, oh I’ll blog later. Oh, that’s a good idea I’ll have to blog it. I need to review this or that, but I’ll do it later. Well, my last post before my return with a short review of a one episode j-drama, was during Halloween. It’s now Chinese New Year! *nervouse laughter* I’m so great at this!

Anyway, a quick update, I’m off to the Philippines in about a week. So, I really need to get back on my travel blogs. I also need to review the Japanese Online Makeup shop I’ve been promising my IG followers since like November.

Sooooo, I’ll try my best to update again on time. Until then check out my lastest post, a review of the j-drama: Wedding Bells for Otaku?

Thanks again, see you monday with a new post!

Love,

Rin
